JOEL WARREN

Celebrity colorist Joel Warren is renowned for his ability to capture personality through hair color. His versatility is his signature as he adapts his techniques and formulas to create a signature look to suit every client.

Joel is constantly trying his hand at new techniques and stretching the limits of his talent. However, he insists that the client will always come first. "Hair color is not about trends – it’s about individuality," he notes. "I think it’s important to fully understand a client before choosing a color." Joel doesn't dictate color or trends – his success comes from working with clients to achieve the best color possible for them.

He is known for developing personal relationships with his clientele, which separates this modern day color legend from others and is the basis for his stunning, signature work.

A native New Yorker, Joel began styling hair in his early twenties but soon found color to be his true calling. Today, his clients – who include models, celebrities and socialites such as Ivanka Trump, Kate Beckinsale, Rachel Hunter, Amanda Hearst, Vanessa Trump and Paulina Porizkova – wholeheartedly agree.

In 1990, Joel joined forces with renowned hair stylist, Edward Tricomi and business guru Roxana Pintilie to form the first Warren-Tricomi Salon, located at 57th Street in New York City. Since then, Joel and Edward have opened three more locations, including one at 45 Rockefeller Plaza in New York City, one in Greenwich, Connecticut and one in Los Angeles, California. The Los Angeles location is the setting for the pair’s new reality show, Salon Diaries, which debuted in May 2006 on Bravo.
